i'm getting fat. have any of you guys noticed this? i almost hit 240 and i /never/ want to be 240 again so i'm kinda shocked :P
i got my laptop the other day. it's badass. it's got a built in wi-fi network card. i'm on the screen porch, it's great. i'm digging it hardcore.
the rx-7 is progressing, although nowhere near as quickly as i'd like. basically there's only the intercooler left to actually buy, and i just need to give the money to bryan. one big stall is that brian still hasn't built my engine or my turbo...i'm getting the h00kup but i do not want to wait forever. dad is also wanting me to not drive the truck. i've already missed the first steve kan tuning date and it might be some time before he comes back. oh well. more info as it happens.
so check it. dad went to birmingham, england this week. he left the uk at like 5:00 central time on friday. he calls me at like 6:00 and his plane had some mechanical problems and has landed in dublin ireland. they've also lost his bags. heh.
he gets a flight today and missed his connecting flight in baltimore, so after a two day odyssey he'll be here at 3:05 pm tomorrow. heh.
some people think that's funny, some don't. whatever.
i am missing mom.

The Game
I'm researching the origin of the Game. Can you tell me where you learned about it?May 6 2004, 06:30:11 UTC 8 years ago
Re: The Game
You are referring to the Game in which the only way to lose the game is to think about the game, right? Some of my friends at Birmingham-Southern College told me about them. None of them have LiveJournal accounts, though.
An interesting aspect of the Game is thinking about what led your thoughts to go to the direction of the game. I guess not everybody does this (Not everybody likes the Game, either). One becomes more aware of the thought processes and one's stream of conciousness.
Just lost it about 5 times, btw. :)

And it's all about the thought processes! French lounge music, La Bamba, and Swiss cheese all inevitably lead to Game loss on this end...

No, I hadn't heard that. I'll have to tell everybody. But then I'll lose again. Hehe.

Lost the game
A group of us from rochdale were told about the game by some friends who heard about it at glastonbury festival. later that at leeds festival me and another group of friends invaded an area that a group of campers had roped off and declared bolton (within the camsite of leeds festival). Whene we were there, we lost the game and ever since then "Bolton" has spread throughout rochdale as a new part of the game, it makes everyone lose.June 8 2005, 13:18:00 UTC 6 years ago

The game
I heard it in Oman (the middle east) when I lived there and then I was sat at a table at my cousins wedding in England and said I'd lost the game and the whole table almost killed me! The gut=ys I heard it from in Oman had picked it up from a girl who had learnt of it in South Africa. This game is massive.- Tom
